Rural Routes is a group of 15 cultural organisations and artists based in European rural areas. Rural topics are the starting point of the projects. Rural Routes aims to create projects, share experiences, develop models of work and connect sectors. Rural Routes does this by working to bridge the rural divide. In this keynote, Keizer outlines the methods of three particular Rural Routes case studies (2 theatre and 1 visual arts) and explores the connection between these methods and Australian regional practices.
